At VHDG, there is plenty to discover during Uit in Huis! Visit the Art Market, where emerging artists and makers from the region present and sell their work.
You can also take part in two creative workshops:
Fruit Preservation | 1:00–4:00 pm
Join maker Alexandrina Ciubotaru and discover The Sour Cherry Kitchen, inspired by a family recipe from Moldova. Preserve your own fruit and leave behind a personal kitchen memory. The workshop is ongoing, and everyone is welcome to join.
Linocut Printing on Textiles | 2:00–4:00 pm
Design and carve your own lino block with guidance from artist Anne Hendriks, then print it onto fabric. Feel free to bring your own piece of clothing to print on.
Come and explore, meet the makers, and perhaps take home a unique work of art. Whether you’re taking your first steps as an art collector, looking for an original gift, or simply curious about the work of emerging artists, VHDG offers art by makers from the local community. And, of course, there will also be delicious drinks and snacks. ;-)
All proceeds from the sale of the artworks go directly to the artists. This way, you not only support local talent but also contribute directly to their further development.
